The kamikaze is a free fall body slide, with waves that creates the feeling of weightlessness in the path of falling, and can finish its trajectory in a pool or braking channel.
Its design with hills and average fall of 30% (from 5° to 60°) makes it one of the most rapid rides, only for intrepid adventurers who live adrenaline. However depending on the preferences of our clients it can both be made quick and high as lower and less inclined to reduce its cost and broaden the range of use.
The kamikaze is one of the oldest slides and yet it is difficult to generate a design that would match its spectacular use and broad safety for the user. This type of slide exists since they were made out of concrete, however, thanks to fiberglass and its greater flexibility, quick sliding and much better maintenance the kamikaze could increase its size and generate more emotions for a longer period of time, at the same time that it was replaced with slides with twists and turns such as the tobosplash of Fibrart and the Aquatubo.
The kamikazes from Fibrart have a long tradition of service within the industry of water entertainment as they are among the most long-lived, being used by the biggest and most prestigious parks in Latin America and many of them are still in operation, after more than 20 years of service.
Its height can vary from 7 to 25 meters (23’-82’), which allows a wide range of options for all straight spaces available and nearly any tower height. Its length of 26 to 160 meters (85’-525’) creates a period of time for the user of vertigo and adrenaline with its hills that its design perfectly leverages, it can generate the best kind of experience for the user. At the end of the trajectory of a kamikaze you can use a traditional pool or a braking channel which is an extension of the slide submerged in water, which brakes the user and is usually between 40% and 50% of the length of the trajectory and provides you with a better control of the use of the park as independently from the skills of the users this will stop them in a uniform way within the braking channel and will take them less time to exit it, increasing the use frequency in comparison with exit to the pool, which is limited by the wait for a complete exit of the user from the same. With a water flow of 12 liters/second (3.17 gal/sec) the free fall slide with hills from Fibrart “Kamikaze” is among the slides with lowest operation costs.
The Kamikaze slide has a flow of 200 users per hour which makes it a high velocity ride and with low user flow, perfect for water parks, spas, hotels and resorts which wish to broaden their rides offer for brave young people and maintain their facilities with new attractions for their users.
The Kamikaze slide is a classic among extreme rides due to providing in a safe way vertigo and adrenaline for decades, which will provide service to young people and adventuring users who like strong emotions.
